We will get to know each dogs' personalities, likes & dislikes so we can make their grooming experience as comfortable & stress free as possible.

Our salon is an open environment, your dog can socialize with other dogs or rest on a comfortable bed while waiting for their parents to pick them up.

Health

Your Pets well being will always come first at Dog Groomers Inc. We will not perform any procedure that may cause pain or discomfort to your pet. It is the owners responsibility to inform Dog Groomers Inc. of any medical alerts or if their dog suffers from any illness or condition which could alter his/her or other dogs’ time at Dog Groomers Inc.

We will take all steps in keeping your dog safe while he/she is in the care of Dog Groomers Inc. However, we do have an open environment with other dogs interacting with each other. Owners must understand that dogs could sustain injuries while playing, even when closely supervised. The owner must inform Dog Groomers In. prior to grooming of any aggressive tendencies. Owners will be liable for any bites or property damaged caused by their dog. We will stop the grooming process if we feel your pets behaviour is compromising their or our safety. Aggressive or very difficult dogs will have an extra handling fee or sent home.

Matted Dogs

Matted coats are very uncomfortable to your dog & promotes sores, bacteria & fungus to grow. If your pet is able to get brushed out, de-matting fees will apply, starting at $15, in addition to the grooming cost. The de-matting process is an uncomfortable & sometimes dangerous process for your dog, any de-matting that will be done depends on your dogs comfort level. Any dogs with excessive matting, sometimes the only solution is to remove the coat & start fresh. Removing a matted coat, includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles or irritations hiding under the fur. As the owner, you are responsible for the condition of your pets coat & will not hold Dog Groomers Inc responsible for any of these ailments.

Ear Care

All pets will have their ears cleaned with a mild ear cleaner. Ear hair will be removed or not removed based on your preference and your vets advice. If we find your pet has an ear infection, we will inform the client as vet care will be needed.

Fleas / Ticks

Any dogs arriving with fleas or ticks, will have a flea/tick treatment bath, at owners expense.

Anal Gland Expression

We do not express anal glands. Impacted anal glands require internal expression and a vet should provide this service.
